1/6/2023 0 Comments Chick dil![]() There's no employee discount but you get free food every shift. ![]() They typically approve time off requests however and it isn't too difficult to get a shift covered if needed. They're a bit inconsistent about scheduling though, so I'm never sure what hours I'll be working which is mildly annoying when it comes to planning. It's not all bad though, our location has generally good management and the people are nice. Understaffing probably plays a role in the work load. It is almost always busy, but even if it isn't you're expected to still be moving, always cleaning or restocking even when there's nothing to do. You will be on your feet and moving, lifting, cleaning etc, CONSTANTLY. Pays $12 an hour, which isn't bad when Texas is still going by federal minimum wage, but some days even that doesn't feel like it compensates for the amount of work we do. Decent pay and nice people but rarely time to take a breather.
